Damir Hoyka: "Xavia"
predstavljanje novog SF romana
(istarska premijera)
Julesu Verneu bi se vjerojatno jako svidio svijet kakvim ga je u
bliskoj budućnosti zamislio Damir Hoyka, inače do ove knjige puno
poznatiji kao fotograf. Napredne tehnologije i umjetne inteligencije
olakšale su život čovjeku, omogućile mu da višak vremena usmjeri i
ka umjetničkom stvaranju, ali, sasvim kao i u romanima koje je prije
stotinjak godina pisao Jules Verne, nisu potisnuli ljudsku pohlepu i
želju za što više moći.
O romanu govore autor Damir Hoyka i moderator Davor Šišović

"Xavia" by Damir Hoyka
Jules Verne would probably like the
world of the nearest future as it was imagined in the novel
Xavia by Damir Hoyka. Before he published his first book, this
author was more famous as a photographer. In his novel Xavia, Hoyka
describes the world of advanced technologies and artificial
intelligences which made the human's life much easier, and gave him
additional free time to be spent in creativity and art. But, as well
as in the Jules Verne's novels published a century ago, technical
progress couldn't erase human greed and his desire to be more and
more powerfull than others.
Novel Xavia will be presented by
author Damir Hoyka and moderator Davor Šišović.
